ARTEXPRESS Student Workshops

The Tamworth Regional Gallery strongly encourage Stage 5 and 6 Visual Arts, Design and Photography and Digital Media to attend this workshop. It is a professional learning workshop day for secondary visual arts, photomedia and design teachers to explore the elements that support high level student outcomes, reflected in ARTEXPRESS Bodies of Works.

It provides a strong understanding how to achieve the best results in your creative practise.

The day will include an art workshop from local artist Michelle Hungerford.

This is an opportunity for students to investigate the conceptual and material qualities of the Bodies of Work on display at the ARTEXPRESS exhibitions across New South Wales.

Cost of student workshop
Government school students: $40 inc. GST
Non-government school students: $80 inc. GST

As part of The Arts Unit’s support of the Department of Education Rural and Remote Education blueprint for action, we are excited to be able to offer a Participation Subsidy of $30 to students from rural and remote schools to attend the Visual Arts Student Workshops.

Please note: If interest exceeds available funds, allocation of the Participation Subsidy will be prioritised based on remoteness.

Subsidies will be confirmed with acceptance notification.
